Sandy llegó a la perrera en septiembre de 2020 y tenía aproximadamente 12 meses de edad a su llegada. Ella es una mestiza que fue encontrada vagando por las calles y llevada a la perrera.

A Sandy le encanta salir a pasear y camina bien con la correa. Ella no parece que le molesten los coches, las personas u otros perros que pasan y ella felizmente se sentará para recibir un premio y le mostrará lo lista que es porque sabe cómo dar ambas patas, no sólo una 😉

Sandy actualmente vive en una jaula con dos perros machos sin ningún problema y durante el día ella está en el patio con perros, machos y hembras, de otras jaulas. A ella le encanta estar con la gente y puedes ver sus ojos rogándote que la saques de la perrera, que la lleves contigo... esta dulce joven se merece mucho más que una palmadita en la cabeza y un paseo ocasional, merece ser amada completamente por una familia propia.

Marzo de 2021: Sandy esta en un hogar de acogida temporal debido a la inundación. Su familia de acogida dice: Sandy tiene un carácter encantador y amable y camina bien con la correa, es fuerte y puede tirar cuando ve un gato. Sandy también se lleva bien con otros perros. Los cuatro días que he pasado con ella, ella ha demostrado un carácter encantador y muy noble.

Ahora ha sido devuelta a la perrera y no le va bien en la jaula... Es muy triste.

Sandy arrived at Los Barrios pound in September 2020 and was about 12 months old on arrival. She is a gorgeous cross breed that was found presumably abandoned in the streets and brought to the pound.

Sandy loves going out on walks and walks well on the lead. She doesn’t seem bothered by cars, people or other dogs passing by, and she will happily sit for a treat and show you how smart she is because she knows how to shake both paws, not just one 😉

Sandy lives in a pen with two male dogs without any problem and during the day she is out on the patio with dogs, male and female, from other pens. She loves being with people and you can see her eyes begging you to take her out of the pound, to take her with you…. this sweet young girl deserves so much more than the odd pat on the head and occasional walk, she deserves to be loved completely by a family of her own.

March 2021: Sandy is in a temporary foster home because of the flood. Her foster say: Sandy has a lovely friendly character and walks well on the lead, she is strong and she may pull when she sees a cat as she isn't too fond of them. Sandy also gets on well with other dogs. The four days I have spent with her and she has shown a lovely nature and very noble.

She has now been returned to the pound and she isn’t doing well in the cage... She seems so depressed.
