▶ Rufio llegó a la perrera en febrero de 2022 y tenía aproximadamente 7,5 años de edad a su llegada. Él es un mestizo que fue entregado por su dueño.

¡Rufio es un amor absoluto! Es súper cariñoso y simplemente adora estar con la gente, recibir abrazos, dar besos o acostarse panza arriba para que le rasquen la barriga. ¿Y cómo puedes resistirte a esa gran sonrisa en esa hermosa cara? Parece ser algo selectivo con los perros machos; con las hembras no parece tener problema, y ​​no es compatible con los gatos. Rufio pasa más de 23 horas al día sentado solo en su jaula, esperando que alguien pase y le diga una palabra amable, le dé una golosina o, mejor aún, lo saque a pasear. Le encanta salir a pasear y camina bien con correa, no parece molestarle los perros, la gente o los coches que pasen. Desafortunadamente, como esto no sucede muy a menudo, ha engordado por aburrimiento y falta de ejercicio 😔 En su jaula, Rufio tiene una cama de plástico con un edredón y todos los días saca el edredón de su cama y lo pone cerca de la entrada de su jaula. Y allí se sienta a la espera... Esperando el día en que lo sacarán y nunca lo traerán de regreso a la jaula... Si no puedes adoptar, entonces ven y pasea a este chico tan guapo y cariñoso, realmente necesita compañía y ejercicio 🙏

Su maravillosa familia de acogida no puede estar más enamorada del gordi, pero no les es posible adoptarle.

Nos cuentan que es un perrito increíblemente bueno, ama a su hermanita, pasa el día con ella y le aguanta todo, es súper tranquilo, se porta súper bien en casa, no da que hacer. Con otros perros parece selectivo, lo ideal sería una casita sin más animales.

Pronto tendrá que volver a la jaula y ni su acogida ni nosotros quisiéramos verlo de nuevo en la prote, es un perro de casa y así nos lo ha mostrado.

Por favor tenemos poco tiempo para evitar su vuelta a la prote, si estás pensando en adoptar a un perrete, piensa en Rufio, puede ser el compañero perfecto.

Rufio is an absolute sweetheart! He is super affectionate and just adores being with people, having cuddles, giving kisses, or lying on his back for a belly rub. And how can you resist that big smile on that gorgeous face of his 😍

He seems to be selective with male dogs; with females he doesn’t appear to have a problem, and he is not compatible with cats.

Rufio spends more than 23 hours a day sitting in his cage on his own, hoping someone will walk by and say a kind word to him, give him a treat or, better yet, take him out for a walk. He loves going out on walks and walks well on the lead, he doesn’t seem bothered by dogs, people or cars passing by. Unfortunately, as this doesn’t happen very often, he has put on weight from boredom and lack of exercise 😔

In his cage Rufio has a plastic bed with a duvet in it and every day he will take the duvet out of his bed and put it near the entrance of his cage. And there he sits and waits…waiting for the day that he will be taken out and never brought back…

December 2022: Rufio is in foster but will soon have to return to the pound.

Rufio is a phenomenal dog!!! His foster family couldn’t be more in love with him, but it just isn’t possible for them to adopt him. They tell us that he is an incredibly good boy, he loves his little human foster sister and spends the day with her and allows her to do whatever to him. He is very calm and well-behaved in the house.

He seems to be a bit selective with other dogs, so his ideal home would be one where he is the only dog. Soon Rufio will have to return to the pound but neither we nor his foster family want to see him back in a cage😔He has shown us how perfect he is living in a house with a family. Please, if you are thinking of adopting a dog, please think of choosing our gorgeous Rufio🙏 He would make the perfect companion ❤️
