▶ Rubita llegó a la perrera en junio de 2023 y tenía aproximadamente 1 año de edad a su llegada. Ella es una mestiza que fue encontrada vagando por las calles y llevada a la perrera.

Rubita es una linda jovencita. Es juguetona y sociable, se lleva de maravilla con otros perros. Tiene una naturaleza muy dulce y cariñosa con las personas, adora los abrazos y el cariño.

Rubita entró en un hogar de acogida en enero, tienen otro perro y lamentablemente no acepta a Rubita en la casa. La familia nos cuenta esto sobre Rubita: “Ella es muy paciente en casa, siempre está increíblemente emocionada de salir. Es un poco acaparadora, coge objetos al azar y los lleva todos a su lugar, a veces muerde los zapatos, pero ese es un problema que se puede resolver fácilmente. Con la correa está muy enseñada, en realidad no tira, simplemente le encanta olfatear lenta y minuciosamente su área y siente mucha curiosidad cuando está afuera. En cada interacción que ha tenido con los niños, ha sido muy amigable, soporta bastante bien que la aplasten y ni siquiera muestra los dientes. Ella simplemente está feliz de estar rodeada de gente. Apenas hemos conocido gatos, por lo que es difícil saber si sería buena con los gatos. Vio uno una vez y estuvo muy ansiosa por encontrarlo durante todo el paseo”.

Rubita ha vuelto a una vida confinada en una pequeña jaula por más de 23 horas al día... Por favor, ahora es su turno de encontrar un hogar para siempre donde pueda ser querida y amada eternamente. ¿Podrías ser tú quien haga realidad su sueño?

▶ Rubita arrived at Los Barrios pound in June 2023 and was about 1 year old on arrival. She is a gorgeous cross breed that was found presumably abandoned in the streets and brought to the pound.

Rubita, is a beautiful young girl. She's playful and sociable, getting along fabulously with other dogs. She has a very sweet and loving nature with people — she adores cuddles and affection.

Rubita went into a home in January, they have another dog and unfortunately she is not accepting Rubita in the house, so two months later, Rubita came back to the pound. . The family told us this about Rubita:

“She’s very patient in the house, she’s always incredibly excited to go outside. She’s a bit of a hoarder, she picks up random objects and brings them all to her spot, sometimes chews on shoes but thats an easily solvable issue.

On the leash she’s very restrained, she doesn’t really pull, she just loves to slowly and thoroughly sniff around her area and she’s just very curious when outside.

Every interaction with kids she has had she’s been very friendly, she handles being mushed around quite well, doesn’t even show teeth. She’s just happy to be around people.

We have barely met any cats so it is hard to tell if she would be good with cats, she saw one once and she was very keen to find it for the whole walk.”

Rubita is now back to a life confined in a small cage for more than 23 hours a day... Please now, it's her turn to find a forever home where she can be cherished and loved endlessly. Could you be the one to make her dream come true?
