▶ Rubio llegó a la perrera en mayo de 2023 y tenía aproximadamente 2,5 años de edad a su llegada. Él es un mestizo que fue encontrado vagando por las calles y llevado a la perrera.

Rubio llegó a la perrera desconfiando de la gente, probablemente asustado y confundido por su repentino confinamiento en una pequeña jaula ruidosa. Al principio reservado, Rubio ha mostrado un progreso notable en las últimas semanas. Ahora mueve la cola cuando ve a los voluntarios y se acerca con entusiasmo para recibir caricias y golosinas.

Cada día, mientras limpian su jaula, Rubio pasa tiempo en el patio. A menudo se para en la puerta, aparentemente esperando que su dueño venga a llevárselo a casa...

▶ Rubio arrived at Los Barrios pound in May 2023 and was about 2,5 years old on arrival. He is a gorgeous cross breed that was found presumably abandoned in the streets and brought to the pound.

Rubio arrived at the pound wary of people, likely scared and confused by his sudden confinement in a small, noisy cage. Initially reserved, Rubio has shown remarkable progress over the past few weeks. He now wags his tail when he sees volunteers and eagerly approaches them for cuddles and treats.

Every day, as his cage is cleaned, Rubio spends time on the patio. Often, he stands at the gate, seemingly waiting for his owner to come and take him home…

Recently, Rubio was moved to a different patio, where he now socializes with other dogs. If another dog is rude to him, he simply moves away, avoiding conflict. Such a good boy!

Rubio is a joy to walk. He doesn't pull on the lead, he enjoys sniffing the grass, and loves taking little breaks for treats and cuddles. He remains unbothered by cars, people, children, or other dogs passing by.

This good boy does not deserve to be locked up in a dark, tiny cage for more than 23 hours a day. He is patiently waiting for a loving family to provide the care and affection he needs. Can you give Rubio the forever home he deserves?
