▶ Papi llegó a la perrera en marzo de 2023 y tenía aproximadamente 2 años de edad a su llegada. Él es un mestizo que fue encontrado vagando por las calles y llevado a la perrera.
Papi llegó con otra hembra, al principio compartían jaula, pero tuvieron que separarse porque no se llevaban bien, quizás por el estrés de vivir en una jaula pequeña la mayor parte del día. Papi adora a la gente y le encantaría pasar todo el tiempo cerca de su gente. Es bueno con la correa, no parece que le molesten los perros o los coches que pasan, pero cuando el viento es fuerte y las cosas cuelgan en el viento, se asusta un poco y se esconde detrás de ti.
Papi fue adoptado en agosto de 2023, hará dos semanas, pero ahora regresa a la perrera, porque tiene un poco de ansiedad por separación, llora y ladra cuando lo dejan solo, pero no destroza nada. Esto se puede solucionar con paciencia y un poco de entrenamiento. La familia nos dice que es un perro muy bueno y le encantan los niños. Lo que más le gusta es ir al campo o mejor aún, a la playa dónde le encanta ir a nadar. Puede estar un poco nervioso con otros perros, pero en la playa ha jugado con otros perros. También fue genial visitar a algunos amigos.

▶ Papi arrived at Los Barrios pound in March 2023 and was about 2 years old on arrival. He is a gorgeous cross breed that was found presumably abandoned in the streets and brought to the pound.
Papi arrived with another female, they shared a cage at first, but they had to be separated as they didn't get along - maybe because of the stress living in a small cage most of the day.
Papi adores people and would love to spend all his time near his people. He is good on the lead, he does not seemed bothered by dogs or cars passing by, but when the wind is strong and things are dangling in the wind he gets a little spooked and will hide behind you.
Papi has been in a home for a couple of weeks in August 2023, but is now returning to the pound, because he has a bit of separation anxiety, he cries and bark when he is left alone, but he does not destroy anything. This can be solved with patient and a little training.
The family tells us, that he is a very good boy and he loves children. His favourite thing is going to the campo or even better to the beach where he loves to go for a nice swim. He can be a bit nervous around other dogs, but on the beach he has played with other dogs.
He was great visiting some friends too.
