▶ Neri llegó a la perrera en enero de 2024 y tenía aproximadamente 10-11 meses de edad a su llegada. Ella es una hermosa pequeña mezcla de Malinois. Fue encontrada en las calles con sus cachorros, lo cual debe haber sido increíblemente difícil para una perra tan joven de soportar. A pesar de sus difíciles circunstancias, fue una madre devota y aseguró la seguridad de sus cachorros hasta que fueron rescatados juntos.
Neri y sus cachorros fueron colocados en un hogar de acogida, donde la familia de acogida descubrió lo inteligente que es. Dijeron que, con las manos adecuadas, Neri podría ser la mejor perra jamás vista.
Tristemente, Neri ahora está de vuelta en la perrera y no está pasando por un buen momento. El constante ruido y la presencia de tantos otros perros son abrumadores para ella, y estar encerrada en una pequeña habitación sola la mayor parte del día está pasando factura a esta dulce perrita. Es desgarrador verla luchar en tal entorno.
Después de unos meses, Neri ahora se ha adaptado un poco mejor en la perrera y comparte jaula con varios otros perros. Parece disfrutar de su compañía y está bien. Es genial con la mayoría de las personas, le encantan los mimos y salir a pasear, aunque puede ser un poco selectiva con las personas.

▶ Neri arrived at Los Barrios pound in January 2024 and was about 10-11 months old on arrival. She is a gorgeous little Malinois cross. She was found on the streets with her puppies, which must have been incredibly difficult for such a young dog to endure. Despite her challenging circumstances, she was a devoted mother and ensured the safety of her puppies until they were rescued together.
Neri and her puppies were placed in a foster home, where the foster family discovered just how clever she is. They said that with the right hands, Neri could be the best dog ever.
Sadly, Neri is now back at the pound, and she’s not coping well. The constant noise and presence of so many other dogs are overwhelming for her, and being locked up in a small room alone for most of the day is taking its toll on this sweet girl. It's heartbreaking to see her struggle in such an environment.
After a few months, Neri has now settled in a bit better at the pound and shares a cage with several other dogs. She seems to enjoy their company and is doing well. She is great with most people she loves cuddles and going for walks, although she can be a little bit selective with people.
This beautiful girl deserves a loving home where she can thrive and be the wonderful dog we know she can be. Are you the one who can give Neri the love and care she desperately needs?
