▶ Max arrived at Los Barrios pound in September 2023 and was about 1 year old on arrival. He is a gorgeous belgian shepherd cross that was found presumably abandoned in the streets and brought to the pound.

Max is a young Belgian Shepherd cross who finds himself stressed in the cage at the pound, waiting for a loving home where he can thrive. He longs for the comfort of human touch and affection, seeking cuddles to ease his troubled soul.

Despite his stress, Max walks well on lead and loves going out, but unfortunately he does not get this joy on a daily basis, due to the lack of volunteers.

During the day, he joins other dogs on the patio, but he prefers to keep to himself and often finds the noise and chaos overwhelming. In the crowded environment, Max sometimes asserts himself when he feels overwhelmed, telling the other dogs off.
