Lady fue encontrada con chip, y su dueño prometió venir por ella, pero en lugar de eso, la abandonó en la perrera. Es una perrita muy dulce y cariñosa que adora a las personas y se lleva bien con otros perros. Sin embargo, la vida en la perrera es difícil para ella.

Lady pasó alrededor de un mes en una casa de acogida en octubre de 2023, y su madre de acogida compartió: “Lady está bien. Los paseos la hacen muy feliz, pero le asustan los ruidos fuertes, algunas personas, ciertos perros y el agua, lo que hace que meta la cola entre las patas. Confía en mí y se queda a mi lado. Ahora, Lady ha vuelto a la perrera. Está aguantando, pero no es feliz. Sus ojos cuentan una historia triste, como si rogara por ser llevada a casa. ▶ Lady arrived at Los Barrios pound in September 2023 and was about 3 years old on arrival. She is a gorgeous mastin that was found presumably abandoned in the streets and brought to the pound.

Lady was found with a chip, and her owner promised to come for her, but instead, they surrendered her at the pound. She's a very sweet and loving dog who adores people and gets along well with other dogs. But life at the pound is tough for her.

Lady spent about a month in foster care in October 2023, and her foster mom shared: "Lady is doing well. Walks make her so happy, but she's scared of loud noises, certain people, some dogs, and water, which makes her tail go between her legs. She trusts me and sticks by my side. When she's happy, she puts her paws on my chest and smiles. She loves cuddles and children, and she's okay with cats until they get too close, then she gets scared. She can handle car rides, but she gets stressed, so I sing to her to calm her down. I'm teaching her to be alone at home."

Now, Lady is back at the pound. She's coping, but she's not happy. Her eyes tell a sad story, as if pleading to be taken home. During her brief breaks from her cage, she waits by the gate, hoping for someone to take her out for a walk. She loves walks and behaves well on the lead, calm and sweet. She's not bothered by dogs, people, or cars during her walks - she's a true star!
