▶ Café llegó a la perrera de Los Barrios en agosto de 2022 cuando tenía alrededor de dos años. Este hermoso mastín fue encontrado vagando por las calles y llevado a la perrera junto con su mejor amigo, Anis. Ambos perros ya estaban castrados, y su dueño, consciente de su ubicación, decidió entregarlos. Ambos perros han sido bien cuidados.
Inicialmente, Café era cauteloso con las personas. Aunque aún puede ser un poco tímido al conocer gente nueva, rápidamente se siente cómodo y disfruta de las caricias y los mimos. Después de que Anis fue adoptado, Café comparte ahora una jaula con otros perros, tanto machos como hembras, sin ningún problema. Durante el día, a Café le encanta jugar en el patio con muchos otros perros.
Café ha demostrado un excelente comportamiento durante los paseos. Es bueno con la correa y se mantiene tranquilo alrededor de coches, personas y otros perros. También es muy educado, sentándose felizmente y ofreciendo su pata cuando se lo piden.
Café prosperará en un hogar cariñoso que pueda mostrarle que los humanos también pueden ser sus mejores amigos. Recomendamos un hogar rural sin niños pequeños, pero con otro perro amigable para ayudarlo a adaptarse sería ideal.
En octubre de 2023, Café visitó la ciudad de Los Barrios con su amigo Otto. Aunque al principio no estábamos seguros de cómo reaccionaría al viaje en coche y al nuevo entorno debido a su naturaleza tímida, Café nos sorprendió con su comportamiento tranquilo y sereno. Saltó al coche, se sentó y esperó pacientemente a que comenzara el viaje. En la ciudad, fue perfecto con la correa y caminó felizmente por todas partes. Disfrutó sentarse para recibir golosinas y mimos y mostró orgullosamente su truco de dar la pata. Café es un perro joven muy educado y bien portado.
Lamentablemente, después de su aventura, Café tuvo que regresar a su realidad: la vida en una jaula en la caótica perrera. Este encantador chico no debería estar desperdiciando su joven vida en una jaula. Se merece su propia familia, donde pueda demostrar lo buen perro que es.

▶ Meet Café: A Gentle Mastin cross Ready for His Forever Home
Café arrived at Los Barrios pound in August 2022 when he was about two years old. This gorgeous Mastin was found wandering the streets and brought to the pound along with his best friend, Anis. Both dogs were already castrated, and their owner, aware of their location, decided to surrender them. They were both well looked after.
Initially, Café was wary of people. While he can still be a bit shy when meeting new people, he quickly warms up and enjoys being stroked and cuddled. After Anis was adopted, Café now share a cage with other dogs, both male and female, without any issues. During the day, Café loves to play on the patio with many other dogs.
Café has shown excellent behavior on walks. He is good on the lead and remains calm around cars, people, and other dogs. He is also well-mannered, happily sitting and offering his paw when asked.
Café will thrive in a caring home that can show him that humans can be his best friends. We recommend a rural home without young children but with another friendly dog to help him settle in would be great.
In October 2023, Café visited the town of Los Barrios with his friend Otto. Although we were initially unsure how he would react to the car ride and new environment due to his timid nature, Café amazed us with his calm and collected demeanor. He jumped into the car, sat down, and patiently waited for the journey to begin. In town, he was perfect on the lead and walked happily everywhere we went. He enjoyed sitting for treats and cuddles and proudly showed off his paw-giving trick. Café is a very polite and well-behaved young dog.
Sadly, after his adventure, Café had to return to his reality: life in a cage at the chaotic pound. This lovely boy should not be wasting his young life in a cage. He deserves his own family, where he can show just what a good boy he is.
