▶ Atenea llegó a la perrera en marzo de 2023 y tenía aproximadamente 2,5 años de edad a su llegada. Ella es una mastina que fue encontrada vagando por las calles y llevada a la perrera.
Cuando Atenea llegó a la perrera estaba realmente asustada y le costaba confiar en la gente. Los primeros meses los pasaba dentro de la jaula en una cama de plástico y no quería salir al patio con sus compañeros de patio. Poco a poco va cogiendo más confianza, ahora tiene el coraje de salir de su jaula y acercarse a los voluntarios habituales, ayuda mucho si traes golosinas, entonces ella tiene un poco más de confianza 😉 También ha jugado brevemente con una pelota, así que sabemos que está mejorando. Atenea es una chica deslumbrante que merece una nueva vida en la que pueda confiar en sus humanos y relajarse cómodamente por primera vez en su vida. Necesita un hogar experimentado con perros temerosos, preferiblemente con otro perro amistoso y con espacio exterior.
▶ Atenea arrived at Los Barrios pound in March 2023 and was about 2,5 years old on arrival. She is a gorgeous mastin that was found presumably abandoned in the streets and brought to the pound.
When Atenea arrived at the pound she was really scared and struggled to trust people. The first couple of months she would spend inside the cage in a plastic bed and did not want to go out on the patio with her pen mates. Slowly she is getting more confidence, she now has the courage to leave her cage and approach the regular volunteers - it helps a lot if you bring treats, then she has a little more courage ;-) She has also played shortly with a ball, so we know she is getting better.
Atenea is a stunning girl who deserves a new life where she can trust her humans and relax in comfort for the first time in her life. She needs a home experienced with fearful dogs, preferably with another friendly dog and with outside space.
