▶ Aragorn arrived at Los Barrios pound in January 2024 and was about 4 years old on arrival. He is an english bull terrier that was found presumably abandoned in the streets and brought to the pound.
Aragon is a special dog who carefully selects his human friends. He can be complex and has the potential to bite. He loves his walks! On walks, he behaves perfectly—he ignores other dogs, people, and cars, walking calmly ahead without pulling on the leash. Unfortunately Aragon rarely goes out on walks due to the limited availability of volunteers.
Aragon needs a home with someone who has experience with his breed or similar breeds. He needs a family prepared to work closely with a trainer who can provide guidance on his sometimes complicated behavior. Living in a tiny cage for more than 23 hours a day at the pound, Aragon lacks the resources needed to address his behavior issues. Due to his selective nature and specific needs, he definitely cannot go to a home with other animals or children.
