Kylie and Madonna arrived at the pound in July 2017 Kylies was approximately 2 years old and Madonna 18 months old on arrival. Kylie seems to be a Bodeguero cross and Madonna a Labrador cross. Both were confiscated from their owner and brought to the pound.

Madonna Height: approximately 50cm Weight: approximately 27kg
Kylie and Madonna are a special case and need to be adopted together after going through so much. Back in July 2017 a property was raided by the police and 16 dogs were found to be in awful, squalid conditions. The dogs were seized and brought to the pound and a police investigation and court case ensued. Unfortunately these two little girls were the unlucky ones as they had chips and could not be adopted until the case was resolved. The owner refused to accept responsibility for their neglect and also refused to sign them over. So the poor dogs have sat waiting at the pound through two harsh summers and winters in the hope that one day their turn to be adopted by a loving family would arrive. Well that day is finally here and they are free from their awful, selfish previous owner and are ready for a loving home where all they need is a soft bed, a loving human and to stay together. Both girls are quite timid, although Kylie much more so. She is very dependent on Madonna and both dogs only venture out of their pen if most of the other dogs have been put away and if they know the volunteers. Once Madonna knows you she loves strokes and cuddles. Kylie becomes more confident when she sees Madonna trusts someone and will come and enjoy a stroke and a fuss. Both girls are very overweight due to lack of exercise and comfort eating. Kylie will do anything for a tasty treat! They are undemanding, low energy dogs who don’t need long walks or lots of stimulation. They would be happy just to be together somewhere safe and relaxed. Let’s make their dreams come true!
Kylie and Madonna are available for adoption in Germany, UK, Sweden, Finland, Holland, Spain and many other countries. Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Adoption fee includes neutering, passport, microchip, all vaccinations, blood tests to screen for diseases, worm and flea treatment.
