¡¡¡¡La cuota por adopción de Julio se ha reducido en 150 euros (ahora 0 euros!!) debido a una amable patrocinadora que quiere desesperadamente que este maravilloso perro encuentre su dulce hogar, ya que lleva esperando mucho tiempo en la perrera!!!!

Julio llegó a la perrera en abril de 2018 y tenía aproximadamente de 1 a 2 años de edad a su llegada.

Julio es un chico maravilloso y guapo que necesita desesperadamente una familia propia, ya que la vida en la perrera realmente lo estresa. A lo largo de los años ha vivido con muchos perros diferentes, machos y hembras, y con el tiempo todos han sido adoptados mientras Julio sigue esperando...actualmente él vive solo en una pequeña jaula y él está mejor por su cuenta ya que se pone muy estresado. A veces él tristemente se entretiene caminando en círculos en su jaula, nos rompe el corazón verlo tan triste y aburrido…

Durante el día tiene un breve descanso de su jaula cuando sale al patio con otros perros - pero su verdadero amor es la gente ❤️ Él es muy cariñoso y le encanta tener un abrazo. Cuando se abraza contigo, puedes empezar a ver cómo el estrés se desvanece y el verdadero Julio emerge - el perro que podría ser si sólo lo sacaran de la perrera y se le diera la oportunidad de tener una vida que realmente merezca la pena vivir.

Él es inteligente y atento, y presta atención a las personas así que sería fácil de entrenar. Le encanta salir a dar un paseo y camina bien con la correa. Si él empieza a tirar, sólo tienes que decir su nombre y se detendrá, te mirará y volverá a caminar. Es un buen chico 😍

Pero Julio ya lleva esperando más de 3 años por una familia que lo adopte y está empezando a perder la esperanza de que va a pasar, así que, por favor, haz una cita para venir a conocer a este chico encantador, al menos para sacarlo a pasear y darle un abrazo y decirle que su día eventualmente llegará porque es demasiado bueno para pasar el resto de su vida en la perrera. Sólo esperamos que su día llegue más pronto que tarde…

Marzo de 2021: Julio estaba en una casa de acogida debido a la inundación de la perrera. Realmente disfrutaba de la compañía humana, la tranquilidad y el sol. La familia de acogida decía:

No tuvimos ningún problema con Julio en casa, se portó muy bien, solo comiéndose un poco sus mantas 😁 Lo dejamos estar en el patio afuera para que pueda hacer sus cosas si es necesario y caminar con él 3-4 veces al día. Con nosotros fue muy dulce y siempre quiere que lo abracen 😁

Después de 10 días en una casa de acogida ha sido devuelta a la perrera y no lo lleva bien estar en la jaula... otra vez él está muy estresado... pobrecito…

DECIEMBRE DE 2021: Nuestro dulce pequeño Julio lleva 3,5 años detrás las rejas de su jaula y lo estresa increíblemente, así que decidimos llevarlo a el pueblo para darle un descanso de su monótona vida en una jaula de la perrera.

Él fue perfecto en el coche; felizmente saltó en el maletero del coche, se tumbó y no se movió hasta que llegamos al pueblo. De hecho, él se portó muy bien en todo momento ❤ Él caminó tranquilamente al lado del tráfico, que incluía caballos, y caminó fantásticamente con la correa. Mostró interés en los perros que veía, pero solo miraba y luego continuaba caminando.

Como es típico en Julio, él estaba encantado de detenerse y recibir abrazos en el camino. Él estaba muy relajado y tranquilo, fue una alegría verlo de esa manera, especialmente porque había tantas cosas sucediendo a su alrededor.

Él habría estado feliz de pasar todo el día pasando el rato en el pueblo, pero lamentablemente tuvo que volver a su pequeña jaula y al estrés de la perrera. Este chico es verdaderamente maravilloso y merece tener abrazos y paseos todos los días de su vida, por favor no deje que desperdicie más su preciosa vida sentado en una jaula pequeña y fría cuando podría estar sentado junto a la persona que lo adopte en un banco del parque disfrutando del sol y simplemente apreciando la belleza del día.

Julio arrived at the Los Barrios pound in April 2018 and was about 1-2 years old on arrival.

Julio is such a wonderful, handsome boy that desperately needs a family of his own as life at the pound really stresses him. Over the years he has lived with many different dogs, both male and female, and over time they have all been adopted while Julio continues to wait…he now lives in a small cage alone and he is better on his own because he gets so stressed. Sometimes he sadly entertains himself by walking around in circles in his cage, it breaks our hearts to see him so sad and bored…

During the day he has a short break from his cage when he goes out on the patio with other dogs - but his true love is people ❤️ He is very affectionate and loves to have a cuddle. When he cuddles with you, you can start to see the stress melt away and the real Julio emerges - the dog he could be if only he were taken out of the pound and given a chance to have a life really worth living.

He is also smart and attentive, and people focused so would be easy to train. He loves going out for a walk and walks well on the lead. If he starts to pull, you just need to say his name and he will stop, look at you and come back. He is such a good boy 😍

But he has now been waiting more than 3 years for his forever family and he is starting to lose hope that it will ever happen. So, please make an appointment to come and meet this lovely boy and if nothing else, at least take him for a walk and give him a cuddle and tell him that his day will eventually come because he is much too good of a boy to spend the rest of his life at the pound. We just hope his day comes sooner rather than later….

March 2021: Julio was in a temporary foster home due to the flooding of the pound. He really enjoyed the human company, the quietness, and the sun. His foster family said this about him: There were no problems at all with Julio in the house. He was very well-behaved, although he liked to chew a bit on his blanket 😁 He was able to go out to the patio in case he needed to do his business, and we took him for 3 or 4 walks a day. Julio was very sweet and always loved to have a cuddle.

He has now been returned to his cage at the pound after 10 lovely days in foster. He is not doing well and is super stressed again 🙁 the poor boy….

DECEMBER 2021: Our sweet little Julio has been behind bars for 3.5 years and it stresses him incredibly, so we decided to take him to town to give him a break from the tedium of his life in a cage at the pound.

He was perfect in the car; he happily jumped in the boot of the car, lay down, and didn’t move until we got to town. In fact, he was pretty much perfect the entire time ❤ He walked calmly amongst the traffic, which included horses, and walked brilliantly on the lead. He showed interest in the dogs that he saw but would just look and then continue walking.

As typical Julio style, he was thrilled to stop and have cuddles along the way. He was so relaxed and cool, it was such a joy to see him that way, especially as there was so much going on around him.

He would have been happy to spend all day hanging out in town, but sadly he had to go back to his small cage and the stress of the pound. This truly wonderful boy deserves to have cuddles and walks every day of his life, please don’t let him waste more of his precious life sitting in a small, cold cage when he could be sitting with his forever person on a park bench enjoying the sun and just appreciating the beauty of the day.
