ESCOBAR – is a star!

Escobar arrived at Los Barrios pound in October 2016 and was about 1,5 years old on arrival. He is a gorgeous pit bull that was found presumably abandoned in the streets and brought to the pound.

Escobar was found with three other female dogs abandoned and left to their own devices. Escobar has a heart of gold and wanted to take care of his three girls – two of them have been adopted, but Judy and Escobar are still waiting. Escobar has the sweetest and loving personality you can imagine; he is so affectionate with people and gets on well with the other dogs too!

Escobar and Judy were shortly in a foster home under the storm in 2017. The family told us that both were no problem at all in the house and they just settled in immediately. Both are good on the lead too.

When you look into his beautiful eyes, you will see love and sadness at the same time.

JUNE 2021

Judy and Escobar are still waiting for their forever homes… it is so sad to see how much they have aged since they arrived in 2016. Still waiting in a small cage…

They love to go out on walks, which unfortunately does not happen very often. They get so excited when they see the lead and do not stop wagging their tails - they know exactly where the door is to go out and investigate the surroundings. They do pull a bit on the lead, but it is not that bad. Escobar will happily stop to have a good cuddle and some nice treats.

Please, please make an appointment and come and meet them at the pound, they are wasting their precious life here…
